Are you passionate about books and digital marketing? Do you have 2-3 years of experience in media and marketing? Jaico Publishing House is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our team.
You’ll play a key role in managing our growing online presence, engaging readers, and driving book promotions across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Oversee Jaico’s Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube and Twitter/X accounts, ensuring consistent and engaging content across platforms.
- Campaign Development: Develop and execute digital marketing plans for key book releases, including conceptualizing creative campaigns.
- Content Planning: Create and manage social media calendars (2-4 months), aligning with book launches and other key events.
- Author Communication: Manage and maintain regular communications with Jaico’s roster of authors (existing, new, and upcoming).
- Influencer & Collaboration Engagement: Drive collaborations with influencers, bookstagrammers, and digital book clubs through contests, campaigns, and partnerships.
- Event Promotion: Plan and execute author interviews, book launch promotions, and bookstore events to amplify book visibility.
- Copywriting & Optimization: Write engaging social media copy and optimize posts using effective hashtags, ads, and other tools.
- Paid Advertising: Plan and manage AMS and Meta Boosting campaigns to drive traffic and engagement on posts.
- Analytics: Track and analyze key engagement metrics to optimize audience interaction and content strategy.
- Coordination: Work closely with PR agencies, influencers, and external designers to create visually compelling content.
- Offline Event Support: Assist with offline bookstore events, book festivals, and radio interviews to further promote Jaico’s books and authors.
Basic Qualifications and Required Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, media, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, Twitter/X).
- Proven track record of successful social media campaigns and book promotions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to craft engaging campaigns.
- Experience with paid advertising on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and AMS.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for books and a strong understanding of the book industry is a plus.
