Satyesh C. Chakraborty
SATYESH C. CHAKRABORTY (PhD, London University), began his teaching career at Presidency College, Kolkata. He then joined Burdwan University, West Bengal in 1972, as Professor and Head of Department of Geography. After a stint on the West Bengal State Planning Board, he taught at Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He has lectured extensively in many universities in India and has been a distinguished visiting faculty in Myagi University, Japan and in University of Iowa, USA. He writes on issues related to environment, energy and social change.
